This project includes a stepping stone walkway, stone wall and gardens. The stone wall and step are used to separate two different entrances. These stones are selected for their large size and smooth edges.

    This spacious, stepped irregular Bluestone patio includes a Hot Tub, strategic boulder placement, seating areas and pillars. The large entrance pillars double as planters for annuals.

    This unique boulder was incorporated into construction of the patio and serves as an excellent birdbath. The garden beds were included to soften the harder edges of the patio, and consist of low growing ornamental grasses that won't obstruct the homeowners' water views.

    The flat lawn and clean lines of the Bluestone steppers, Cobblestone edging, and Cedar fence panels are complemented by the mounded gardens and shrub masses. Hydrangeas, Andromedas, Skimmia and Azaleas are used to make this layered garden.

    This pillar is constructed from local wall stone, with a large Bluestone cap. The pillar light was designed to complement the home's copper gutters and to reflect the angular design of the landscape.

    With limited space available in this client's backyard, this design included an 'Endless' swimming pool veneered in local wall stone. The bluestone coping conceals the automatic cover and provides poolside seating.

    These front steps are veneered in local Jamestown wall stone and capped in bluestone. The lawn areas are lined in reclaimed cobblestones to create a straight edge. Bluestone pieces are evenly spaced for this front walkway.

    This pool and hot tub combination meet seamlessly with the deck to create easy access. The hot tub is separated just beneath the water surface. The cedar fence steps up evenly with the slope of the property and makes a great backdrop for a bamboo garden.
